Pier Solutions Ltd and Roth Turbines Announce Strategic MoU to Deliver Integrated Off-Grid Power Solutions

Pier Solutions Ltd, a specialist in modular engineering and energy transition solutions, today announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Roth Turbines Limited, a leading developer of advanced Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs). This agreement sets the stage for a strategic collaboration to design and deliver fully integrated, off-grid renewable energy systems.

Through this partnership, Pier Solutions will combine its expertise in modular and hybrid power systems with Roth Turbines’ patented WindSurf™ VAWT technology to create a next-generation renewable energy platform. The initiative will begin with a joint feasibility study, progressing to the design, prototyping, and testing of a robust system focused on performance, reliability, and safety.

The integrated solution is targeted at remote and off-grid applications, including telecommunications infrastructure, mining operations, agricultural sites, and rural or island communities—sectors where reliable and sustainable power is both critical and challenging to secure.
